Well, just as expected Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter 3 has officially sold over 1,000,000 copies !! That is a feat that remains unparalleled for any recording artist in the past couple of years.

Weezy F Baby knew that he was going to sell a lot of albums anyway. Not sure whether he knew it was going to be this many though !

How many people are fans of Lil Wayne Music worldwide ? The platinum sales have been achieved via US sales. How many Weezy fans purchased his album in Germany, the UK, or France ?

Well, well, Lil Wayne exceeded (my) expectations by selling an impressive 423,000 copies of his latest offering, Tha Carter 3, on its FIRST DAY !!

At a time when most hip-hop artists struggle to sell that amount for the whole album in a period of one year, here comes Weezy F Baby who goes ahead and does it in 24 hours !

Now we just have to wait and see how many he will sell by next week Tuesday, one week after the release.
