HD gets better….

Dish Satellite just unveiled 3 new HD packages for all you HD freaks; dish HD Essential, dish HD Ultimate, and dish HD Base. They cost an additional $10, $20, and $29.99/mo respectively.

They come jam-packed with all the best channels ! dish HD Base, for example, was created with the HD fanataic in mind. It features over 45 channels (not a misprint) in high-def ! Cable tv only offers under 20 channels in HD in most localities. That is paltry when compared to what DishNetwork offers. On top of that, Dish Satellite will soon offer local channels in HD in 100 towns and cities, thus making them the true leader in HD !

If you are a cable subscriber I think you already know what you have to do.

DirecTV or Dish Network ?

With there being two major satellite tv providers in the United States, most people get confused as to which one they should subscribe to. Well, what are the differences between Dish Network and DirecTV ? Let me break it down for you briefly.

Dish Network does not charge you $49.99 for their DVR’s like DirecTV. For $299.99 DirecTV will give you their HD Receivers. With Dish Network you can get it for free. For an additional $5.98 you get the Dish DVR.

DirecTV packages start at $29.99, and Dish Network’s start at $19.99/mo.

For sports fanatics DirecTV would be the best choice as they offer more in sports programming. Dish Network fairs better for those looking for international programming. You can find channels in the following (but not limited to) foreign languages; French, Farsi, Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi, Vietnamese, Hebrew, Italian, and Chinese.
